This workshop is designed for health care professionals, students and those interested in brain injury. You will learn about the ABCs of Medical Cannabis from Dr. Mark Kimmons, Medical Director of Sunniva (Calgary), Dr. Chris Abeare, Neuropsychologist University of Windsor and Patrick Kolowicz, Director of Mental Health and Addiction, Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare. It is timely for clinicians and others to understand the role and impact of medical cannabis in the recovery of a brain injury.

Join riders from all over Ontario in our 16th annual Kawartha Lakes Classic Cycling Tour in support of A Place Called Home. With two trail route options(13k and 25k) and three road routes(50k, 100k and 160k) there is a distance for all skill levels. Routes are fully supported with rest stops and motorcycle support. The event begins and finishes at Boston Pizza Lindsay and concludes with a buffet featuring pasta and pizza.  Come join us on August 24th and help support our local homeless shelter!
