Heritage St. Clair commemorates the railway that was intended to link New York City and Chicago in a short-cut across southern Ontario. Two storyboards will summarize the history of the St. Clair Branch of the Canada Southern Railway that ran from St. Thomas to Courtright. The line began operations on July 1, 1872 and operated until 1960. All are welcome to join His Worship Mayor Steve Arnold and St. Clair Township Councillors as they unveil storyboards at two locations on Sat. June 22, 2019: Brigden Optimist Park at 10 a.m. and Courtright Waterfront Park at 11 a.m.
