There will be a euchre tournament held this Saturday, September 15 at 7pm at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 804 Grand Marais Road East. There will be cash prizes, door prizes and a 50/50 draw. A light lunch and additional finger foods will be provided. The tickets are $20 per person. You do not need a partner to play and this is a fun tournament. All proceeds are for sponsorship of children activities put on by the Riverside Optimist Club: Pumpkin Decorating Day, Sensory Sensitive Activities for Kids, Easter Events, Family Kite Day, Soccer, Bursaries, Essay and Oratorical Contests for Youth, Kids Fishing Derby, Tri-Star Basketball, Members Development, etc.  We hope to see as many people come out as possible; join us in bringing out the best in kids!

October 12, October 13 – Gigantic Church/Garage Sale at Central United Church, 220 George Street, Sarnia, corner of Brock & George on Friday, noon- 2 p.m. and Saturday, 9-11 a.m.  Gently-used fall and winter clothing; attic treasures, kitchenware, jewelry, toys, books, bedding and linens, plants, small appliances and furniture, and much more. Keep us in mind when cleaning out your houses this fall that your discards are our treasures. Items can be dropped off at the church Monday - Friday from 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm. Proceeds from the sale help to support the church including local and international charities.
