A evening of classic celebration of Scotland's Robbie Burns - Legion dinner, performances by Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums, Madman's Window Trio, Scottish Country dancing, speeches and recitations. A fund raiser for the Royal Canadian Legion, Cobourg Legion Br. 133.

Community Event - Niagara - How Active Citizenship Connects Us All
Judge Rochelle Ivri is one of eight Citizenship Judges in Canada and is currently assigned to the Greater Ontario Area which includes Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener, Windsor and London. She is the Manager of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Mohawk College after having served nine years as faculty in the paralegal program. She is also an adjunct professor at Queen’s University Law School, and co-author of Tribunal Practice and Procedure (Emond Publishing). Judge Ivri has a degree in Criminology from the University of Windsor, and a post-graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from York University.
Judge Ivri is deeply committed to community engagement and involvement, serving on various boards and committees in the past and present, while continuing to lend her knowledge and expertise to advance the needs of the community. Her professional work and civic contributions have been recognized with numerous awards.
She is passionate about human rights, the Charter, and encouraging active citizenship and civic engagement to make communities thrive. The Club is proud to launch our 2025 Speakers' Series with a presentation by Judge Ivri.
Community Event - Niagara - Hogtown Brass Quintet in Welland

The Welland Port Colborne Concert Association starts off 2025 with a wonderful brass quintet, Hogtown Brass on Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 PM at Centennial Secondary School, Welland.
Hogtown Brass is a dynamic Canadian ensemble comprised of accomplished musicians from a variety of diverse artistic backgrounds. Known for their unique arrangements and new compositions, collaborations with vocalists and instrumentalists, along with an affinity for both standard and non-traditional performance spaces, Hogtown Brass is on a mission to reinvigorate the entire concert experience for their audiences.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for students. They are available online at www.wpccaconcert.org or at the door.
