“Nipissing Branch Genealogy Library Tour” – Have you ever wondered what the best genealogy library in Northern Ontario has to offer?  On Tuesday, March 5th, the Nipissing District Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society will be giving a tour of our facility, equipment and its extensive library collection.  The presentation will be held in our Library in the Joan Duquette Room on the upstairs Mezzanine at the North Bay Public Library, 271 Worthington Street East, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  For more information, please call (705)474-4830, extension 2833.  All are welcome!

A Brier Send-off Party for Team McDonald (Team Ontario) will be held on February 23rd from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at Cataraqui Golf and Country Club.  The party is to give our community a chance to give their best wishes to our local curlers and Brier hopefuls as the travel to Brandon, MB and compete at Canada’s grandest of curling competitions.
