17th Annual Pakenham Maple Run Tour
Enjoy spectacular spring landscapes while experiencing the art, fine craft and delicious food and drink of 33 exceptional artists, artisans and producers on this self-guided Tour. The Tour wanders through scenic, historic Pakenham village and area to 10 fascinating stops, where you can indulge your senses in beautiful painting, pottery, pewter, glass, jewelry, photography, textile art, delicious locally-produced food and drink, and much more. Our stops are a tour all by themselves - a heritage one-room schoolhouse, one of the oldest general stores in Canada, a fudge shop, a craft brewery, a cider house, a peaceful retreat centre, a clothing design studio, and more! The Maple Run Tour coincides with Maple Weekend, so be sure to visit Fulton’s Sugar Bush and Pancake House, too. Brochures are available online at www.mapleruntour.com, at Fulton's, the Pakenham General Store, throughout the village and beyond and at any tour stop. Runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily both days.

Community Event - Sarnia - The 10th Annual Lenten Organ Series starts March 7
The 10th annual Lenten Organ Series will be held at Central United Church, Sarnia, starting on March 7.
The Thursday noon program runs for a half-hour at the downtown Sarnia church, located at 220 George Street, corner of Brock and George Streets.
All are welcome to the organ series, which is organized by Robert Towers, the church organist and choir director at Central United.
The first of the six programs features Paul Merritt, organist emeritus, of First St. Andrew’s United Church, London.
Community Event - Sarnia - The World Day of Prayer at St. Joseph's Church
St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church will be hosting the World Day of Prayer on March 1.
Four area churches will be holding services in the Sarnia area with about 26 area churches participating. This year's global, ecumenical prayer service was organized in Canada by the Women's Inter-Church Council of Canada, WICC. The service was written by the women of Slovenia.
All are welcome at the services. Proceeds from the free will offering support women's and social justice projects in Canada and around the world. Services are also being held at Trinity Anglican, the Salvation Army and Camlachie United Church.
