Kids will be off from school for the winter holidays soon, and Adventure Bay Family Water Park Presented by WFCU Credit Union is offering an incredible short-term membership option for adventurers who’d like to visit us again and again over the break.

Our Winter Holiday Membership can be used Saturday, December 22, 2018 through Sunday January 06, 2019 inclusive. Park hours are 10am to 8pm daily with the following exceptions:

·         Monday, December 24, 2018: open 10am to 4pm

·         Tuesday, December 25, 2018: closed

·         Monday, December 31, 2018: open 10am to 4pm

Winter Holiday Membership rates:

·         $28 for guests 42 inches in height and up

·         $19 for guests under 42 inches

·         Under three years old, you are free

Don’t forget that gift cards for the water park make an awesome stocking stuffer, so slide a ton of fun into someone’s stocking this year. They’re available in any denomination right at the front desk of Adventure Bay.

December 12, 10am-12pm at United Way, Board Room, 300 Giles Blvd. Course Fee, $15. Bring a laptop if available. 

Participants in this workshop will: 

  • Become an Achieve Ontario certified organization
  • Recognized the value of volunteer involvement and increase their ability to attract and retain volunteers
  • Be able to use the Position Description Bank to write volunteer position descriptions and performance evaluations 
  • See how Achieve Ontario helps to simplify volunteer recruitment by helping describe the tasks and skills required for the position, along with any training requirements

Who should attend? 

Volunteer coordinators/managers and other staff or volunteers responsible for engaging and recognizing volunteers in their organization.
