Local residents, businesses, and schools are encouraged to plant native trees to help restore health to our urban environment. For only $5.00 each, the following native seedlings can be purchased: Eastern Hemlock, White Pine, Red Oak, Tulip, & Bitternut Hickory. Residents can pre-order 5 to 25 seedlings with prepayment at the MacBain Community Centre or the Gale Centre from April 1st-23rd.

The Park in the City Committee will celebrate Arbour Day with the Chippawa Lions Club, various students, and local volunteers who will help plant 50 native trees at Chippawa Lions Park.
