Community Event - Niagara - BOWL FOR KIDS SAKE
Bowl For Kids Sake 2019
Tim Hortons Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake (BFKS) is our signature National event, and represents our single biggest fundraising campaign of the year and makes up 25% of our annual operating budget. It has been a tradition in Niagara for nearly 30 years!
We ask people to create a team of 4-6 bowlers, and pledge a minimum of $200 for each team to participate in the event. There are numerous fundraising incentive levels that we hope our team members can reach, each with their own unique prizes and IMPACT to the agency! At the night of the event, bowlers get 90 minutes of lane time to kick-back, have fun and bowl some strikes for a good cause! Along the way, we have prizes for top team, top fundraiser, best dressed team and much more!
Every year there is a unique theme, and this year’s theme is “Fandemonium”. What are you a fan of? Come dressed sporting whatever you love the most! Maybe you LOVE football or The Clash or The Lord of the rings or Cheeseburgers! Whatever you’re a are a fan of we’ll be excited to see it!
We encourage all teams to dress up for the theme – your team may even win a prize! The Tim Hortons BFKS is a perfect opportunity for businesses and individuals to help children in South Niagara. Friends, family, co-workers, local businesses, politicians and media put teams together and collect pledges and online donations. The teams then gather at Jeff's Bow-O-Rama in Welland or Carrolls' Bowling in Fort Erie to bowl and have fun in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
