The Ceremony will be held inside the Sarnia Arena on Brock St. S this year. The parade route will be along Wellington starting from Front St. People who ordered wreaths must pick them up at the legion Saturday between 3-6 p.m. or before 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command Service Bureau Officer Mrs. Patricia Royle will be visiting the Royal Canadian Legion Belleville Branch 99 on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 8:00AM.

Mrs. Patricia Royle will be available to provide information, advice or assistance with the following:

a)    Disability pensions/Entitlement applications to Veterans Affairs Canada
b)    Other benefits from Veterans Affairs Canada
c)    Application for Benevolent fund assistance
d)    Review/appeal Board assistance

In partnership with the Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS), the Family History Fair will be held at the Chatham Branch of Chatham-Kent Public Library on Saturday, November 3 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

Visit with local historical groups, learn about online resources and get genealogy tips from experienced researchers. We've got kids activities too, so bring the whole family!

From 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, meet with genealogy and local history organizations at the Family History Fair Expo.  Visit all Expo booths for a chance to win a DNA kit, Family Tree Maker 2017, subscription to MyHeritage or other great door prizes generously provided by Kent Branch OGS.

The Family History Fair is open to all interested and is free to attend. All events are offered at Chatham Branch, CKPL, at 120 Queen Street in Chatham. For a full schedule of Family History Fair events visit www.ckpl.ca.

Kingston Symphony music director Evan Mitchell presents a lively evening of live and recorded music that will (re)kindle your interest in classical music.  Evan shares how he came to  a career in conducting and gives a behind-the-scenes look at the Symphony today and how he's exploring new ways to enrich the experience of concert-goers.  For adults and teens only. Takes place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30, at Calvin Park branch of Kingston Frontenac Public Library.  Registration is required and opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 20.  Sign up at events.kfpl.ca or by calling 613-549-8888.
