Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - WSO - Music of Harry Potter Dress Rehearsal
The WSO has opened the Dress Rehearsal for Witches & Wizards: The Music of Harry Potter to the public on Saturday, October 27th, 11AM at the Capitol Theatre.
There’s magic in the air at the Capitol Theatre as the Windsor Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Robert Franz have audiences spellbound at Witches & Wizards: The Music of Harry Potter. Tickets have SOLD OUT to both performances on October 27th and 28th. Due to high demand for tickets, the WSO is announcing an Open Dress Rehearsal to the public!
Join the WSO on Saturday, October 27th at 11:00AM at the Capitol Theatre as they prepare for the weekend’s performances. The doors open at 10:30AM. Tickets are only $5 per person.
During this “working rehearsal”, audiences can expect frequent stops and starts, and that music may not be played in its entirety. The WSO asks patrons to refrain from loud conversations, flash photography, and video taping as it is distracting for the rehearsing musicians on stage.
This is a great opportunity to see the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, hear the wonderful scoring of John Williams, and experience what orchestral musicians do to prepare for concerts every week.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.windsorsymphony.com, in person at the box office (121 University Ave. W), or on the phone by calling (519) 973 – 1238 ext. 2.
