Treblaires Show Choir seeks a fun, creative, collaborative-minded Director to rehearse, direct and prepare singers to perform a polished performance of songs. This is a volunteer position with an honorarium. This dynamic group of women performs a wide variety of music and is looking for a well-organized musician with existing or looking to enhance their conducting skills. The choir rehearses Tuesday evenings, select Sundays, and performs several concerts each fall and spring term. Presented by the Kemptville District Hospital Foundation - Saturday Sept. 29 at the North Grenville Municipal Complex starting at 7pm. Tickets $50 per person; phone 613.258.6133 x217 to purchase. Proceeds will be used towards the purchase of two new smart beds for the hospital.

Community Event - Sarnia - Cooking Palestinian at Central United, Sarnia
On August 11 and Sept. 15, Rev. Lilian Patey will be hosting a healthy Palestinian cooking lesson and lunch at 11 a.m. at Central United Church, corner of Brock & George Sts., Sarnia.
Come out and learn how to cook traditional Palestinian dishes. Then enjoy the delicious lunch.
Cost: $25 - includes lesson and lunch
There are only 12 spots available for each date, so register and pay early. Proceeds will be donated to our Palestinian widow.

Community Event - Sarnia - Tickets Available for Theatre Trip to Grand Bend
Come and dance with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire at Huron County Playhouse, Grand Bend.
A bus trip will leave from Central United Church on Saturday, September 29, 2018 to see the theatre production Holiday Inn. The cost is $100, which includes the bus ride, the theatre ticket, and a delicious family style turkey dinner at Aunt Gussie's in Grand Bend.
Make cheques payable to Bob Towers. Departure time is 12:00 noon from Central United Church. Return at 7:30 pm.
