Never judge a book by its cover! The Poverty Roundtable Hastings Prince Edward, in partnership with the Belleville Public Library, is pleased to announce that there will be a Human Library event on Sat. Oct. 20 from 11 am – 3 pm.  This event allows you to “check out” a “human book” (an individual with an interesting background or story), to have a short one-on-one conversation with and learn more about their experiences. This event is aimed at fostering diversity and inclusiveness by exposing members of the public to individuals that might have a different lived experience than themselves!
