November 10, Antipasto Bar 6pm and dinner 7:30pm at the Caboto Club. Tickets, $125. 

The evening will feature an exquisite hot and cold antipasto bar, clam chowder, spaghetti mare e monte, spring medley salad, filet mignon with mushrooms, and mino red & white potatoes. All you can eat lobster tails with clarified butter, fresh asparagus tiramisu served in a martini glass. Bread basket and a bottle of red & white wine per table. Proceeds to benefit Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation and CIBPA Windsor Scholarship Fund.

Media City Film Festival, Windsor’s annual internationally-celebrated festival for film and digital art launches its 23rd edition this November 7-10, 2018.

This year’s festival kicks-off with a bang, hosting a rare in-person appearance from Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement Award Winner (Venice Biennale), Carolee Schneemann (New York), in partnership with The Penny Stamps Speaker Series.

Wednesday, November 7 at 7:30PM at the Detroit Institute of Arts’ Detroit Film Theatre, TRANSFORMATIVE ACTIONS will feature a selection of films from two of the most important feminist filmmakers and performance artists of the 20th century: Carolee Schneemann (USA) and VALIE EXPORT (Austria). The evening opens in celebration and tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin in her hometown, with a special performance by Motown Records recording artist, and Detroit-native, Carolyn Crawford, accompanied by Rick Jones.
