Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - Notice of Public Meeting for ZBA-172
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board is proposing to construct an indoor sports field on the former Queen of Peace Catholic Elementary School property located at 110 Ellison Avenue. The proposed amendment seeks to obtain relief from the provisions of the zoning by-law to allow the indoor sports field to be constructed. Specifically, Section 21.1.3. Institutial (I) Zone, to reduce the required interior side yard setback from 9 metres to 3.87 metres, as well as Section 4.38 Parking Area Requirements to reduce the total required number of spaces to be provided on site from 677 standard parking spaces to 182 standard parking spaces. Development of the indoor sports field is subject to site plan approval (SPC-15-18).
A Public Meeting will be held on Monday, May 14 at 6pm in the Leamington Council Chambers at the Municipal Building to consider these applications which apply to lands located at 110 Ellison Avenue. Anyone is welcome to attend the Public Meeting and/or make written or verbal comments either in support of or in opposition to the proposed zoning by-law amendment.
