On the first Friday morning of each month from 10:30am to 12pm we invite all stroke survivors, those living with ABI and caregivers to meet and provide mutual support and encouragement. This is an open group so please join us.

Attendees learn the principles of mindfulness meditation, the importance of living in the moment, and how these skills can reduce both physical and emotional suffering. Course materials are $100 – assistance is available to those where cost is a barrier. This class integrates movement from ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary dance techniques to stretch and strengthen the body, improve posture and balance and engage the mind. Thinking like a dancer helps participants regain physical confidence in their own bodies. Classes are taught by experienced dance educators/dance artists. This class is also suitable for those living with MS, A.B.I and Stroke. Caregivers are encouraged to attend.
