Friday August 3 through Monday August 6 with something for everyone! Entertainment for both children and adults plus agricultural displays and competitions and the always popular midway offered by Carter Shows. Belleville Public Library is pleased to announce that award-winning mystery writer Gail Bowen will be giving a book talk and reading on Wed. Sept. 5 at 6 pm. Ms. Bowen is the author of the wildly popular Joanne Kilbourn series, and the winner of multiple awards for this series including the Derrick Murdoch Award from the Crime Writers of Canada. She has also been recognized with the Crime Writers of Canada Grand Master Award. She will be speaking about her newest release, A Darkness of the Heart, and selling and signing books. Ms. Bowen’s talk is free and requires no registration.
