On August 11 and Sept. 15, Rev. Lilian Patey will be hosting a healthy Palestinian cooking lesson and lunch at 11 a.m.  at Central United Church, corner of Brock & George Sts., Sarnia.

Come out and learn how to cook traditional Palestinian dishes. Then enjoy the delicious lunch.

Cost: $25 - includes lesson and lunch

There are only 12 spots available for each date, so register and pay early. Proceeds will be donated to our Palestinian widow.

Monthly meeting for August takes place on Thursday Aug. 16 at the Perth Family Health Centre. Meeting runs from 7-9pm. Monthly meetings are held at this location monthly on the 3rd Thursday. Contact Carleen 613-812-4474 for more info.

A bus trip will leave from Central United Church on Saturday, September 29, 2018 to see the theatre production Holiday Inn.  The cost is $100, which includes the bus ride, the theatre ticket, and a delicious family style turkey dinner at Aunt Gussie's in Grand Bend.

The Smithville Legion is so pleased to announce that since our 1st Annual Community Pig Roast fundraiser was a success last year, we're doing it again! 

We have FREE kids activities from 3pm - 5pm so that the adults can take some time to themselves, sit and relax, while the kids and 2 of our Executive Committee volunteers run them around the side field participating in Summer Olympics events! 

What a great way to spend a Saturday evening - a nice dinner out AND supporting a fundraiser for a non-profit organization.
