Girls Inc. Strong, Smart, & Bold summer programming is here! Join us this summer to have fun, discover new possibilities, and embrace what it means to be Strong, Smart, & Bold! This is an interactive camp that offers an empowering, girls-only environment for girls between the ages of 6-13. Program areas of focus will include mindfulness, self-defence, team building, and getting creative in science, technology, and math! Community Event - Niagara - Open House for Cdn Cancer Society & MS Society
On behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society Niagara Community Office, I would like to invite you to join us and the MS Society in celebrating the opening of our new shared location. We will be hosting an open house, which will be held on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018. We will be accepting guests between 3:00pm and 6:00pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00pm.
We are located in St. Catharines, on the corner of Niagara Street and Scott Street, between CIBC and Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Catharines-Thorold and District. As we are expecting a great number of guests, we would like to ask those of you who are able to, to park in the Sobeys parking lot across the way, and then cross the street safely at the lights. We hope that you will consider dropping by to say hello, to take a tour of the new space, and to enjoy some light refreshments!

Community Event - Chatham - Paint Night @ The Wallaceburg Museum June 30th
On June 30th, we are hosting a paint night which will give an opportunity to follow an instructor and design to paint your own glass tumbler. It is $5 per person which includes glass, paint, and refreshments. It will be held in Jeanne Gordon Hall starting at 7:00pm. Buy your tickets ahead of time.
Community Event - Ottawa Valley - Come Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples' Day
Indigenous Peoples' Day Celebrations will be held at the Pembroke Marina hosted by the Anishaanabe Cultural Circle on Thursday June 21. This is a free event. Sunrise ceremony at dawn, opening ceremony 10 am, closure at 3 pm. Features interactive cultural events- drumming, singing, dancing, Innuit throat singing - plus silent auction, BBQ, Health fair, crafts, face painting, bouncy castles for the children .
