We are for a clean, green, litter-free Oakville! Pitch-in at any of the 65 nature sites scheduled for cleaning up in support of Earth Day. Bags and disposable gloves provided. Free to attend. The Chatham-Kent JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is the largest fundraising event in CK that unites the type 1 diabetes (T1D) community and raises funds for T1D research. 2024 is the 50th anniversary of JDRF and we are excited to bring together our T1D community and CK residents to celebrate 50 years of progress, commitment, and improving lives for people affected by T1D.

The 2024 Pickleball season at the Quinte Curling Club starts Monday,  April 29 with new pricing and schedules.  Sessions are open Mondays and Wednesdays,  10 am - noon and 6 pm - 8 pm.  Drop in games are $9 each, including HST. For keen players, an unlimited play option is available for $200 including HST.  The season will last 19 weeks excluding dates when the Club is  unavailable:  May 15, June 10, June 12, July 1, August 5 and September 2.  All participants are required to pay and sign a waiver before beginning play.  For more detailed information, click here.
