June 13, 11am-2pm at Ciociaro Club, 3745 North Talbot Rd., Oldcastle.

Medical marijuana in the workplace is a rapidly emerging and highly contentious issue. The issue will become more complex with the legalization of recreational marijuana scheduled for later this summer. The topic of marijuana access and its use is sensitive and complex, with issues and implications for health and safety. This session focuses on helping employers to understand the changes, the implications for health and safety, and to provide guidance on how to manage these challenges in safety sensitive industries.

Networking opportunity!

At the luncheon, there will be a number of information booths hosted by community partners to share information and resources that are relevant to workplace wellness programs. The first and last half hour of the luncheon will be dedicated to networking, to allow attendees to connect with other like-minded individuals to learn about strategies that they can implement within their own workplace.

Cost, $35 per person. Includes a "Meet Smart" lunch. Registration deadline is June 8, 4:30pm. To register visit www.wechu.org/luncheon-series. For more information call 519-258-2146 ext. 3200 or visit www.wechu.org/luncheon-series
