Stop Energy East (North Bay) invites you to join them for a Water Docs Where -You-Live film screening to celebrate water and its protection from risks such as the now-cancelled Energy East project. Three films will be screened  Thursday, December 7th, beginning at 7 pm, at Emmanuel United Church, 395 Lake Shore Drive, North Bay.  The event is sponsored by the Ecologos Institute. Admission is free, and there will be a free will offering to support water protectors fighting Kinder Morgan pipeline. Everyone is welcome.

Alone on Christmas Day?  Join us for the 44th Annual Community Christmas Day Dinner held at St. Mary Catholic School (44 Central Ave. West). Sponsored by St. Francis Xavier Parish, we provide a beautiful sit down Christmas Dinner, music, gifts, an appearance by Santa Claus and of course, good company.  Meal will be served at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 25th.   Free of charge.  Transportation available within city limits.  Reservation required by Wednesday December 20th by calling 1-844-386-2833.

Let's Glide into Winter by Skating on Sunday, December 10 from 1:45pm to 3:35pm at Forest Glade Arena - Rink A; 3205 Forest Glade Drive. All are welcome, admission is FREE. CSA certified helmets are required for all skaters participating. Face painting will also be available for those that do not wish to skate but want to be part of the festivities. We look forward to seeing you on December 10! This is a Nation Wide event funded by the Government of Canada

An advent tradition of music and candlelight Sunday December 10 in Kemptville. This is one of the final events in the year long celebration of St. James Anglican Church's 190th anniversary. Lessons and carols will be presented and performed by the St. James Chancel Choir beginning at 7pm. Everyone is welcome!

St. Joseph’s K of C Council #10436 are holding a breakfast on Sunday Dec.10/17 from 9A.M. until 12:30P.M at the Spirit & Life Centre (St. Joseph’s Site) 184 Wellington St. West Chatham. We are serving an all you can eat buffet with 2 meats, hash browns, scrambled eggs, French toast or pancakes, toast & fruit cocktail.

Cost $7.00 per plate for adults

S4.00 for children 6-12
