The Salvation Army is proud to announce its Annual Christmas Kettle Campaign Kickoff taking place November 16, 7:05pm at the WFCU Centre. Local representatives from The Salvation Army will be part of the ceremonial puck drop at the Windsor Spitfires game. MEN OF THE DEEPS - Christmas in the Mine Tour

First ever Christmas CD by World Famous Chorus

This upcoming holiday season, North America’s only coal miners chorus are preparing to take audiences on a journey like no other, with their first ever solo Christmas album, Christmas in the Mine.

The Men of the Deeps will be visiting theatres, spreading their unique brand of holiday cheer to Ontario audiences in Kingston, Burlington, Brantford, Meaford, Welland, North Bay, Deep River, Ottawa, Markham, St. Catharines and Chatham

Saturday Dec. 2 and Sunday Dec. 3 at the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario (in Smiths Falls). 

This event sells out every year and adding a
second day will accommodate even more attendees. ! ! 
The diesel engine will again be pulling our 3 vintage cabooses full of train enthusiasts, followed
by photos with Santa. Old favourites are back such as sending Santagrams in Morse Code and
making train whistles in Santa’s Workshop. ! !
New this year, don't miss a reading of ‘Stories with Mrs. Claus’, as our volunteers from Friends
of the Library bring books to life for our younger attendees. Smiths Falls restaurant, Cafe Whim,
will be providing warm beverages and gourmet sandwiches all day long. Finish your day with
Christmas shopping in the museum gift shop, where there is something for everyone.! !

Ladies Auxiliary Br.24 of the Royal Canadian Legion at 15 George St. Lower Level from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Huge Raffle tables, homemade meat pies and baked goods, and many miscellaneous tables. A group of 20-25 local musicians from all over Niagara, perform a collection of Canadian music, some old, some new, to usher out the celebrations of Canada's 150 th Birthday....with a few tunes to get you in the Christmas and Holiday spirit.  Mandolins, Mandolas, mandocello, guitars, balalaika, flute, double bass and keyboard.
