Celebrate Your Heritage! December is your last chance to Bring Your Thing and share your stories. On Thursday, December 7th 7PM at Kingston City Hall in Memorial Hall, you are invited to bring any object that carries a story and shares your heritage. Celebrate Canada 150+ and discover your community!

We are excited to welcome Arrogant Worms for a free performance, sharing what it means to be Canadian through humorous songs. Arrogant Worms started performing in Kingston in 1991 as a comedy troupe, and are back to bring their thing.

This is your last chance to pop-up alongside artifacts from local Kingston museums and collections. See artifacts that you haven’t seen before. Bring Your Thing will also feature several engaging activities seen at events throughout the year; matching games, world maps and more. Explore heritage, enjoy some refreshments and discover Kingston!

The Kingston Association of Museums, Art Galleries and Historic Sites (KAM), in partnership with the City of Kingston, has featured a series of pop-up museums throughout 2017 as part of Kingston’s Canada 150+ celebrations. If you are unable to attend these events, you can follow along on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at @kingstonmuseums. Use the hashtag #BYTKingston to share your “Celebrate Your Heritage” items.

KAM would like to thank the City of Kingston for its support of this initiative. For more information about future Bring Your Thing events visit www.bringyourthingkingston.ca.
