The construction of a sidewalk from Fraser Road to Nicholas Street on Oak Street West will commence November 20 for aprox. 2 weeks. The sidewalk will link to one of the Transit stops, and provide a link between the existing commercial areas, residential areas and the new Leamington District Secondary School at 80 Oak Street. In order to complete this work in a timely fashion and increase public safety eastbound Oak Street will be closed from 7am to 7pm daily. To access businesses along the route you will have to follow the detoured routes and enter from the westbound lane.
Juror Applications are now being accepted for the exciting fifth year of the Arts, Culture and Heritage Fund (ACHF) grant program initiative that awards project grants to deserving individuals and cultural organizations to help stimulate creative and economic growth in Windsor. The deadline to apply to be a juror is December 7 at 12pm.
