Sonja Cuming Adams, 92 years young, creates beautiful water-coloured paintings which have been shown at successful art shows in Canada, the USA and France.  Her landscapes painted on location reflect her love of nature.  She enjoys the spontaneity, delicate transparencies, freshness and clarity that water colour offers. Her large florals often combine "wet-into-wet" technique and realism to create paintings that are both impressionistic and detailed. Her sense of colour, composition and her gentle nature are reflected in her work. A former teacher for Loyalist College, she also taught in her own studio and in Florida for many years.  She was the art co-ordinator for Le Monastere, a destination for artists in Southern France and arranged art tours and painted yearly in this region. Sonja will have close to 100 of her paintings on display during this 2 day event.

Sonja is donating ALL proceeds from sales to The Salvation Army Peterborough Community and Family Services. So plan to come and check out Sonja's beautiful art work on display, pick up a painting or two, and help support your local Community and Family services, all at the same time. You may even get some great Christmas ideas!
