Prince Edward Community Care holds monthly curbside pick-up of meals. The September event is on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 and the pick up location is in Milford. Chef Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse and Occasions Catering is preparing a scrumptious meal of homemade soup, a roll, roast loin of pork, potatoes, vegetables, and apple pie for dessert. The cost is $20.00/meal and seniors 60+ can order by calling the Community Care office at 613-476-7493. All meals must be paid for in advance. Meals will be packaged hot and ready to be picked up at Milford Town Hall, 3076 County Road 10, Milford. Only those who preorder and pay will be served. To order, or for more information, call 613-476-7493. Orders will be taken until Monday, September 18th, 2023. www.communitycareforseniors.org

United Way’s GenNext committee is holding a trunk sale fundraising event on Saturday, September 23.
Community members are invited to buy a spot for $20 and sell personal garage sale items or products.
The $20 fee goes to United Way Niagara, and participants keep the funds raised from the sale of their products.
Location: Laura Secord Secondary School (parking lot), 349 Niagara Street, St. Catharines
Time: 10 AM-2 PM
