Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - Bright Futures: Celebrate Canada Fundraiser
Get ready for a night of fun, food, and community spirit at Bright Futures: Celebrate Canada — the Rotary Club of Peterborough’s signature fundraising event happening Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the McDonnel Street Activity Centre. This lively evening features a Chili Cook-Off Competition where you get to taste and vote for your favourite, live music by Tony Grady and The Patio Stones, an exciting raffle draw with a $4,000 cash prize, amazing getaway packages, and a silent auction packed with local goods and experiences.
All proceeds go toward Rotary projects making a real difference — from school breakfast programs and youth support services in our local community to empowering women in Pokhara, Nepal through skills training and education. Tickets are just $50 per person. Raffle tickets are $10 each or 3 for $20, with the draw at 9:00 p.m. Come celebrate Canadian spirit and global impact — and help us build brighter futures, one community at a time.

Join us for our annual Canada Day celebration on Tuesday, July 1st. All the family-friendly festivities begins at 6:00pm with outdoor music, dance performances, and various vendors with food for purchase. Canada Day birthday cake will be served at 8:30 followed by a fireworks presentation. *Free Admission
