Pitman's Bay is a municipally owned and maintained 88-acre property located on Mary Lake, a short five minute drive from Huntsville. The facilities on site include a main building, washrooms, a beach, and a pergola with picnic tables. The Pitman's Bay property currently has restraints on the usage from an agreement dating back to 1951, including a management board.

To better understand who uses the property and how the property should be used in the future, the Town of Huntsville is conducting a survey and hosting a public consultation event. The feedback received will help inform Town staff and their recommendation to Council on permitted uses and agreements that govern the Pitman's Bay property.

Want a say in how Pitman's Bay will be used in the future? Take the survey below! The survey closes on September 1, 2023.

Public Consultation Event, August 23, 7-9pm, Active Living Centre
