Kingston musicians will perform works of J.S. Bach, one of the greatest composers of all time. No registration or admission fee, but a freewill donations will be divided between the RCCO scholarship fund and the Cathedral.
Come for a performance, come for the afternoon. Come when you can and leave when you must. Participants include members of the Kingston-area musical community, the Dan School of Drama and Music, and the Moellman family.
The Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO) Kingston Centre offers scholarships for pianists of all ages who would like to be introduced to, and develop their playing skills on the pipe organ. Scholarships provide 10 hours of free organ lessons with a qualified instructor. The application deadline is March 31, with auditions for qualified applicants in early April. Information and application materials are available at www.rcco-kingston.ca, by emailing scholarships@rcco-kingston.ca, or by calling Cathy at 613-352-3334.
The RCCO Kingston Centre receives financial support for these scholarships from local individuals and churches, and the National RCCO office, and raises funds by hosting special events.
