Community Event - Chatham - “Pink the Rink” in Support of The Breast Buddies
The Maroons will “Pink The Rink “ Sunday, October 27th in pink jerseys donated by Simply Vinyl Signs and Graphics and Sal & Son
The autographed , game worn pink jerseys will be part of the silent auction table which will also include:
-4 Windsor Spitfire tickets donated by Chris McLeod “ Radio & Real Estate.
-A hockey stick autographed by the Chatham Jr Maroons
-4 Sarnia Sting tickets donated by Greg Hetherington & CKXS Radio.
-A Special Autographed Maroons Jersey-
Plus other autographed hockey memorabilia . “
The BREAST BUDDIES are a group of breast
cancer survivors who have taken up the
sport of dragon boat racing. Their mission is
to promote awareness of a quality of life
after a diagnosis of breast cancer.
In doing so, they impart hope and
empowerment to all with this disease. On
or off the water, they are a visible sign to
others that there is life after a breast cancer
diagnosis.
The Breast Buddies are comprised of
women from across Chatham- Kent and
Southwestern Ontario.
The Breast Buddies will have an information
table set up on the east side upper walkway of Memorial

There will be an on-ice tribute to the Breast Buddies prior to their game against the LaSalle Vipers. The puck drop is
scheduled for 7:00 PM , Sunday Oct 27th . Box Office opens at 6 pm.
