Two years after renowned painter Tom Thomson’s mysterious death, his friend, his mentor and his lover gather to share memories of Canada's most famous artist. But did any of them really know the man? Through their diverging songs and stories, a new portrait of an iconic Canadian emerges.
Featuring spectacular high-definition imagery of Tom Thomson and Group of 7 artworks from the Art Gallery of Ontario, unforgettable characters and a rousing folk music score by the Shipyard Kitchen Party band, this original Canadian musical will entertain audiences of all ages.

A fun event for seniors or adults with disabilities in the community. Held on Thursday July 20 (rain date July 27) from 12-2pm at Robert Simpson Park. BBQ includes hamburger, fries, drink and icecream. Gillan Rutz will entertain. Tickets $10 available from the agency office until July 18th.
Our Davedi Club Italian Family Picnic is back this year, Benvenuti, All welcome! Sunday July 16, 2023. Free Admission all day. Bring your own lawn chair. From 2 pm, we will have face painting, bouncy castle, activities, Children’s Games, Bocce Ball, entertainment by Paul Pruneau & The Journeymen for the whole family. What: Open House community event with info stations, food and musical entertainment to:
1) Share our vision of the Aboyne Rural Hospice
2) Educate the community about what the hospice can offer and how they can be involved
3) Create a fun filled event for families and individuals to come together and celebrate the history, talents and amazing resources of our community -
Who: Invitation will be spread widely throughout Centre and North Wellington County. Attendance is free.
