The Thousand Islands Fine Art Association (TIFAA) members will hold their annual art show and sale at Tony Kall Park and the Community Center in Mallorytown.
Friday, September 15, 1 - 7 pm, with an opening reception from 5 - 7 pm.
Saturday, September 16, 10 - 5 pm
Sunday, September 17, 10 - 4 pm
Local artists will display their art pieces along with a guest Indigenous Artist, Mance Granberg.
Come and view the art and meet the artists. All are welcome.

“Big Band Day”
The 4th Annual “Big Band Day in Peterborough” will take place September 16th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Millennium Park, Peterborough. This concert focuses on and celebrates the beloved music of the Big Band Era. Five local bands (Peterborough Concert Band, KnightShift, Northern Spirit Big Band, Electric City Swing and Ron Marenger Big Band) will provide entertainment throughout the afternoon with music from the great composers of the era, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong, Glenn Miller and including many other offerings covering pop, rock, gospel, funk and classical genres and more contemporary composers.This free event is generously sponsored by the Downtown Business Improvement Area of Peterborough and Long & McQuade Music. As this is an outdoor event, it is weather dependent. There is no rain date.
