Join us for the Fergie Jenkins Statue Unveiling - Saturday, June 10, 2023!

Statue Unveiling Ceremony is at 1:45 pm in front of the Chatham-Kent Civic Centre downtown Chatham.

An after-party will be held outside the Sons of Kent backyard at 3:30 pm. All ages are welcome. The after-party will include

First Ontario Fun Zone, where the first 300 children will receive a Rawlings baseball, hotdog and temporary tattoo. A self-serve photo booth with Fergie will also be available!

On June 7, 2023, Community Development Halton and Volunteer Halton present, "Public Benefits and Social Assistance" - a free information workshop featuring Halton Community Legal Services. This workshop will provide information on the various public benefits and social assistance programs available to older adults as well as provide information on next steps if you are denied benefits.

Rev Jenkins is retiring, his last service will be June 4 at Canon Davis memorial Church. Also Ginny Schliehauf will be installed as a new Lay Reader. It will be a Celtic Service with guest Harpist Wendy Rideout. There will be a reception/Luncheon after the service for Ray and Ginny, if you would like to attend the unchain call 519-344-9531 by May 31 so they have a head count.
