September 10th is World Suicide Awareness Day.  In recognition of this day, Distress Centre Niagara will hold it's 18th Annual Suicide Awareness Walk on September 10th at Market Square in downtown St. Catharines.  We hold this event to raise awareness in the community and in support of those touched by suicide. This fundraising event is free to attend and all are welcome. All proceeds are used to help us continue to offer our 24/7 Distress Line Program to the Niagara community.  Doors open at 6:30pm with the event itself starting at 7pm.  Event includes guest speakers, memorial service, walk and community resources. 

Sew Day is coming back to Canon Davis Church. Saturday, September 23, 9-3 pm. Cost $20.00 lunch is provided. Bring a crafty project, tell us about it, make it, get help with it,  and show others what craft you enjoy doing. Share your skill and knowledge with others who want to learn. Enjoy a day with people doing what they love.
