Music on Union presents Valery Lloyd-Watts (Piano) and Chris Alfano
(Clarinet) in concert on Friday 10 February from 5:15pm to 6:15pm at St
James Church, 10 Union St in Kingston. The program is entitled “Robert

February in support of the St James pipe organ restoration. A freewill
offering will be collected. Call 613-548-7254, or visit

History tells of the love that both Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms
felt towards Clara Schumann. Schumanns’ Fantasiestucke, Op. 73 and
Brahms’ Clarinet Sonata, Op.120, No.2 were written nearly 50 years apart
and yet each is an example of deeply Romantic music which typically
deals with love and longing.
