The Tweed & District Horiticultural Society presents their Annual Plant Sale on Saturday May 20th at Tweed Memorial Park. Come check out our selection of locally grown perennials, herbs, vegetables, bulbs, annuals and houseplants. These plants are grown and donated by club members to help support the planting of our town flower beds, Moira Garden and guest speakers at our monthly meetings which we hope to start again in the fall. Selection of plants vary and for best selection arrive early with your tote. Cash sale only! Begins at 8 am.

The St. Francis de Sales Knights will be serving their next Community Roast Beef Dinner on Thursday. May 11th in the St. Francis de Sales Parish Hall (434 Second St. W.) rom 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.  Complete dinner including coleslaw, dinner roll, roast beef entre, mashed potatoes, vegetable, dessert and beverage. all are welcome.  fully accessible hall with elevator service provided.  Adults $15.00, under 12 years $5.00.

These Community Roast Beef Dinners are presented to raise funds in support of the Knights of Columbus council's charitable programs in the Cornwall community.

Great Lakes Secondary School's Horticulture students will be holding their annual plant sale on Saturday May 13th between 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  A large selection of annual flowers, hanging baskets, vegetables and native perennials will be available.  All plants were propagated and cared for by students.  Proceeds from the sale go back directly to help fund the GLSS horticulture program.  Cash only.
