Why dine out alone? Instead socialize with other solo diners in a group for lunch, noon, Thursday, July 4th, at the Mandarin Restaurant St Catharines. All adult ages regardless of marital status are welcomed.  Order off the menu or enjoy the buffet.  Seniors 65+ with id get 20% off the buffet price .  The solo diner events have taken place for four months with about 20 participants now attending.  Maybe you'll be one of them.  Reserve at carolparker19@gmail.com.  Can't make lunch, then try for dinner, 5:30, Thursday, July 18th at the same place.

Enjoy listening to local musicians while taking in a beautiful view of Lake Ontario! Join us at Joseph Brant Museum from 7:30pm – 8:30pm on July 12 & 26 and August 9 & 23 for our “Music From the Rooftop” series. Each evening will feature a local musician, lawn games, and complimentary iced tea and popcorn. Doors will open at 6:30pm to allow guests the chance to browse the museum’s galleries prior to the performance.

Tickets are $15/adults, $13/seniors & students, $11/children (ages 3- 12).  $40/family (2 adults and up to 4 children). Ticket includes 1-hour musical performance, lawn games, complimentary refreshments & popcorn, admission to museum galleries.

In the case of inclement weather, performances will happen inside Joseph Brant Museum’s Lakefront/Shoreline rooms.
