In recognition of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, CFUW Welland and District is inviting the public to a zoom presentation. Donna Christie from the Niagara Sexual Assault Centre will be our guest speaker. The event will take place on Zoom at 7:00pm on Nov. 30,2023. Whiskers & Wishes continues with Santa Paws!

Pets love Santa too. Dress up your furry little friends, if you and them both like, and bring them for a visit and photo with Santa Claus December 13th & 14th, in the community room at the Humane Society, (1375 Provincial Rd in Windsor,) from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. 

The fee of $30/per pet, includes: 

-Time with Santa, where pets get to visit with their favorite ol’ jolly guy in red. (Santa speaks all pet languages) 

-Two digital images, taken by local, professional photographer, Ted Kloske.  

-Treats for your pets and yourself, supplied by Starbucks.

-A gift of savings for your pet supply needs

The Cobourg Highland Games Society would like to invite you and your friends to our Annual Robert Burns Dinner on January 25, 2023 at the Cobourg Best Western Inn, 930 Burnham St. Cobourg.   Doors open at 6:00 pm with Dinner at 7:00 pm.

The dinner will include Scotch Broth, Shin of Galway with a Scotch whisky peppercorn sauce with Haggis, root vegetables, neeps and tatties, followed by Cranachan, coffee or tea.  Entertainment will include The Lindsay Rose Highland Dance Company Dancers and the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums.  Reserved Dinner Seating Tickets are $60, children 12 and under $35.  Dinner Tickets will only be sold until January 19th, so please buy your tickets early so you are not disappointed.  Tickets are available at Nessie’s Gifts & British Fare, also online at www.cobourghighlandgames.ca with paypal or E-Transfer.

There will be a Raffle to raise funds for the 59th Cobourg Scottish Festival and Highland Games.

A Registered Tax Donation Receipt will be provided for a portion of the Adult & Child’s Dinner Ticket price.
