The Théâtre de L'Amalgame presents a free reading of FRONTIÈRES LIBRES, a brand-new play by Franco Ontarian author Marie-Thé Morin. Different people, each with their own destiny, find themselves on the same train and share only one goal: to go somewhere, somewhere else, in total anonymity. When disaster strikes the train, passengers suddenly become survivors who need each other.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT ON SUN. DEC. 4TH AT 7 PM

The Pembroke Community Choir is excited to finally be back with "Christmas Joy", a concert of joyful carols and wintery songs.  Start your Christmas season on a festive note with our 60-voice choir singing both new pieces and familiar favourites.  Sunday, Dec. 4th at 7pm at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 284 Trafalgar Road, Pembroke.  Tickets for adults are $15 in advance until Dec. 2, or $20 at the door.  Students 13 and under free. This will be a community event bringing individuals, groups and organizations together who want to show that Peterborough cares about the plight of those experiencing homelessness in our community and realize the urgency of finding solutions as winter approaches.

There will be music, food, speeches and sharing.  We invite all to walk from their neighbourhoods with signs, banners, etc. and gather at 12 noon for a social time.  Speeches and sharing time will begin at 1 pm.
