Alumni Meet-ups - May 24 Heritage Preservation in Your Community

Community panelists including Meg Reiner, author of Heritage Buildings of Amherstburg, Richard Peddie heritage advocate, Dorian Moore architect and urban planner, and Adam Coates heritage planner and urban designer discuss and answer questions about heritage preservation in the Windsor Essex County communities. 

The UWindsor Alumni Association has partnered with River Bookshop in Amherstburg to offer a series of monthly chats on a variety of relevant and interesting topics. These events will be held in the Hole in the Wall, the community space in the River Bookshop, 67 Richmond Street in Amherstburg.

Le  Théâtre de L'Amalgame est ravi de présenter « La visite ou surtout, sentez-vous pas obligés de venir ». Cette comédie de Robert Bellefeuille et de Michel Marc Bouchard est mise en scène par Mario Sarda, assisté de Ginette Girard avec 10 comédiens. Un couple, Monique et Roger, raconte trois journées mémorables au cours desquelles, à dix ans d'intervalle, il a reçu de la visite.  Illustré par trois « livres » - L'Art de recevoir, L'Art de percevoir et L'Art de décevoir - les joies et les angoisses provoquées par ces visiteurs nous révèlent le " cirque de la condition humaine ". C’est une comédie grinçante sur nos mœurs et sur la revendication du droit à la solitude.
