Marking Armistice Day, actor/writer Ryan Kerr takes audiences on a journey through World War 1. Theatre, live music, dance, and projections combine in a truly original and unforgettable multi-media performance. SYNERGY 150 presents “An Old-Fashioned Christmas” at Camlachie United Church, inviting everyone to join them for a special warm-up for the festive season. This 55-voice community choir will present songs from favourite Christmas movies and shows along with traditional carols, with audience participation invited. Their powerful, emotional, impactful music accompanied by a slide show will bring back fond memories and perhaps create new ones. After the concert, everyone is invited to stroll through the Christmas Village with a light refreshment in hand, where baked goods, crafts and treasures will be on sale, and children can decorate their own gingerbread cookie or listen to a story by the Christmas tree. Children may also enjoy climbing on a hay wagon for a short ride outside, weather permitting. Enjoy our fully accessible fragrance free building!
