Volunteer Halton is pleased to welcome back Tanya Hannah Rumble, CFRE, on September 13 for an encore presentation of Sharing Power with Volunteers, part of the Leading, Growing, and Creating Inclusive Volunteer Programs workshop series.  Join in this interactive webinar to understand the power you hold in your role as a volunteer engagement professsional, and the ways you harness, hold, and give power to others. You'll also learn how to share power at all stages in the volunteer engagement cycle.

   Scottish Country Dancing --

    It's Fun!  It's Active!  It's Social!

    Country Dancing - (not to be confused with Highland Dancing, which is usually done in competitions or performances - think of the 'Sword Dance') is done in groups of dancers to set formations, which are described and walked through for practice.  The only equipment needed is soft-soled shoes.  No prior experience is necessary.

    Location:  Canon Davis Memorial Church, 380 Russell St N, Sarnia

    Time:  Every Monday 7pm to 9pm, except some holidays - beginning Sept 9th, running until the end of May.

    Cost:  First three lessons are free; there is a nominal charge after that.

This will be the 4th and final event of this year. Come out and get your early Christmas shopping started with these amazing local vendors and crafters on Saturday, October 1st from 9am-2pm. If there is enough interest would also have a separate area for anyone interested in bringing their items for a parking lot yard sale for $20 for 21/2 parking spots, set up for everyone starts at 7am. All Saints' Anglican Church is hosting a Take-Away Chicken Dinner Fundraiser in support of The Street Angels Ministry on September 21, 2022. Join us for a chicken dinner that includes a half chicken, baked potatoe, coleslaw, sour cream, roll & butter and a piece of apple pie. Tickets are $20 and must be purchased by September 18, 2022.
