The Royal Canadian Legion is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that supports veterans and their causes. Legion Branch 644 is having a Super Bowl Party on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Kick-off is at 6:30 PM. Great prizes, kitchen open, no cover, cash bar. 100% of proceeds generated goes back to the Branch.

The North Bay Museum has partnered with the Gateway Theatre Guild to create an exhibit entitled “Play On!” The opening event will take place January 20th at 7 pm and is open to the public. The Gateway Theatre Guild is celebrating their 75th anniversary next year, and Pat Moulson, a longtime museum volunteer, is curating an exhibit to honour this milestone. The guild began at Algonquin Collegiate in 1948. Since then, they have performed at numerous locations across North Bay. The exhibit will feature costumes, memorabilia and first-hand accounts from past and present guild members.

Ice Follies Biennial is returning to frozen Lake Nipissing for two weeks in February 2023 continuing its rich history of presenting contemporary art in Northern Ontario’s coldest month. Lake Nipissing is not only the location for the event, it is also the festival’s inspiration. Ice Follies celebrates its 10th Edition with free performances, large-scale art installations, community engaged artworks and activities, and a curated look-back at the history of this one-of-a-kind festival. Come experience art the Northern Ontario way!
The festival is free to attend and open 24 hours a day from February 10 – 24, 2023.
