Community Event - Kingston - The Dragon of Wantley by Kingston Baroque Consort

The Kingston Baroque Consort presents “The Dragon of Wantley” on Monday 21 October, 7:30pm, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts (390 King St W, Kingston), featuring incidental music by John Frederick Lampe, a retelling of the comic tale narrated by Matthew Davis, and original artwork by Colton Fox.

Prior to the concert, Colton Fox will host a free “Draw Your Own Dragon” workshop, suitable for all ages, in the Isabel lobby at 6:30pm.
Attendees will also learn how to make their own "Dragon zine" that they can fill with various dragons!

This concert is made possible with support from the Kingston Arts Council and the Ballytobin Foundation.

The ever popular home made butter tarts and turkey pies are back again this year!

Come early so you aren't disappointed.  Shoppers will find great Christmas gift ideas at the Treasure and Craft tables along with tasty preserves at the Deli table.

Motown Magic and More

The Welland Port Colborne Concert Association is excited to open the season with Motown Magic and More on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 7:00 pm.

This is a high-energy stage show featuring the classic hits of superstars Diana Ross & The Supremes, Sam Cooke, Donna Summer, The Drifters, Tina Turner, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick  and many, many more. 

The show will be held in the Dr. J.M. Ennis Auditorium in Centennial Secondary School, Welland.
