The MERA Schoolhouse in McDonald's Corners has a fun event planned for Saturday April 23rd! We are planning a Garden Day with a seedling swap, workshops and hands-on demonstrations. This event also happens to be on Earth Day!
Seven complimentary Indigenous Awareness Workshops with Kelly Brownbill are scheduled between April and June 2022.
Seats are open to staff, board members and volunteers of Muskoka-based agencies, associations, non-profits, charities, as well as to residents of Muskoka.
Each workshop is four hours long and is being taught by Kelly Brownbill, an Indigenous Educator with over 20 years of experience helping organizations across Ontario become more culturally competent in offering services to Indigenous Peoples.
Workshops will be live and interactive, but delivered remotely by Zoom. To ensure an optimal learning experience, seats are limited.
