CKPL Grows Seed Library will begin on Monday, March 21!

Members can borrow seeds for free, save the seeds they grow and return some of the seeds to the library at the end of the growing season so visit your local CKPL branch to pick up your seeds starting March 21.

Get ready for a high-end gala experience with a fun summer twist!

Presented by our local Rotary Clubs, this outdoor afternoon “grownups only!” event will be a picnic theme with food from Franz’s, La Mesita, and Taso’s, craft beer from Bobcaygeon Brewery, Rolling Grape and Brock Street Brewery, special summer cocktails, live music by Irish Millie and the Mayhemingways, your favourite picnic games, sweet treats from Central Smith and Flossophy, amazing prizes, a live auction and activities like axe throwing with the Peterborough Axe Club.

Tickets are $125/pp and includes all food, one drink ticket, live music, and all activities with the chance to win fantastic door prizes with proceeds to our “Building Abilities for Life” campaign to raise funds to keep kids off our waiting lists and into treatment for speech and language therapy.

Community Event - Niagara - Port Cares' Drive-Thru Soupfest is April 5!

Port Cares' popular Soupfest event is BACK on Tues. April 5th, drive-thru style again. Get your tickets early; 2021 was sold out! For $25 you get four portions of soup, four biscuits and four cookies; all homemade and fresh out of our commercial kitchen. Soup flavours are Ramirez Hearty Chicken, Caribbean Seafood and Tuscan Vegetable. Get your tickets by sending an e-transfer to donations@portcares.ca and include "Soupfest" and your email in the details. Or, you can get tickets at Port Cares Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30 at 92 Charlotte Street.
