Gardeners of Burlington presents guest speaker Anna Leggatt: “Vegetable gardening in containers”.

Date: Wednesday, Feb. 12th, 2025 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm via ZOOM (Virtual)

This talk will focus on growing vegetables in small spaces and will include issues such as containers, maximizing space, successful plants, soil, watering, micro-greens, and possible problems. The effort to grow vegetables at home is rewarded by their superior taste as well as giving you a feeling of satisfaction by being able to eat your own produce.

Anna Leggatt is a Master Gardener in Toronto and Life Member of the East York Garden Club as well as a past Director of the North American Rock Garden Society. She has published extensively on gardening websites as well as in Toronto Life Gardening, Landscape Ontario, and the Globe and Mail. She has received various gardening awards for her years of volunteering as well as prizes for her photography.
