Neurographic Art is an abstract art form that anyone can do. All levels welcome.  There is no right or wrong, it’s simply creating for creativity’s sake. Doodle and paint multiple pieces and learn about this relaxing art technique/style.

It has also been proven to help create new neuropathways in the brain, hence the name.

Child Haven International is hosting a Strawberry Social fundraiser, Sunday, June 9th, from 2 to 4 at the Benson Centre. Everyone is welcome to come, learn about Child Haven's work since 1985, supporting and educating women and their children experiencing hardships in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Tibet. Guests will be entertained by The Heartstrings Ensemble, nourished by the incomparable Judy Stewart and delighted by the bazaar of exotic Easter goods. Finally, guests will have the opportunity to meet three of the founders of Child Haven: Dr. Nat Shah of Cornwall and Bonnie & Fred Cappuccino of Maxville. The founders have received numerous accolades for their tireless commitment to ensuring access to education for those who might not otherwise have access to it.

We are pleased to announce the return of our 17th Annual Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament, which is being held at Kingsville Golf & Country Club on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024. This is one of our key fundraising events, and helps to support the ongoing operation of our Crime Stoppers program.

Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting public safety by encouraging members of the community to report criminal activity. We work with law enforcement agencies to provide a way for people to give anonymous tips about criminal activity and offer rewards that lead to an arrest or conviction.

Our program works and the statistics prove it! Statistics for 2023 in Windsor and Essex County alone, information provided has resulted in over 55 arrests, more than $134,000 worth of recovered stolen property and more than $424,000 of illegal drugs seized off our streets. Because of this success, over $1.2 million dollars in reward payouts have been authorized. 

Tee times begin at 11:00am with three beautiful course options. Lunch, drink ticket and dinner included with the option of steak, pickeral, perch, chicken or ribs.
