Creative Fibres is a social circle for all fibre arts: knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, cross stich, embroidery, felt work, and more!

Creative Fibres meets every Wednesday at 5:30pm in the second floor cookbook Reading Nook.

Tesla Fest 2024: Celebrating Innovation at Niagara Falls 

Niagara Falls, Canada–[12 & 13], 2024–The annual Tesla Fest returns to Niagara Falls on July 12th and 13th, celebrating the legacy of Nikola Tesla through a blend of science, technology, and art. This convergence of minds and inspiration will occur at multiple venues designed to spark attendees' creativity and curiosity. 

Dynamic Programming and Celebrations - Tesla Fest 2024 will feature exciting events, including the Tesla Legacy Conference at the historic Niagara Parks Power Station and a vibrant tribute to Nikola Tesla's birthday at Queen Victoria Park. Attendees can look forward to keynote speeches, interactive workshops, and electrifying performances honing Tesla's innovative spirit. 

Join Tesla's Electric Circuit - The festival also marks the launch of 'Tesla's Electric Circuit,' a fundraising campaign that invites festivalgoers to purchase a commemorative pin. Belleville Public Library's Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets every second Monday (bi-weekly) at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are invited to this informal, self-led program.
